Police raid converted Moorabbin warehouse, finding almost $300k worth of drugs

A large drug trafficking syndicate has allegedly been uncovered operating inside a converted warehouse in Melbourne‘s south-east.

Police allegedly found almost $300,000 worth of cocaine, ice and cannabis at the Moorabbin home this morning.

A 55-year-old man who lives at the converted warehouse was arrested.

Investigators allege he is the mastermind behind a sophisticated crime syndicate which manufactures drugs and traffics them through Melbourne’s south-east.

Police also allegedly found $65,000 in cash, two samurai swords, and equipment used to make drugs at his home.

Two women, both aged in their 50s, were also arrested at the property.

Police raided a total of five buildings at around 9am as part of their move on the syndicate, which they have been investigating for 12 months.

The 55-year-old man will face court tomorrow.
